  • MCS2000 pin #1 & pin #2 must be connected for internal speaker to work.
  • MCS2000 pin #4 & pin #9 must be connected at all times.
Transmit Drive Level of KAM XL
  • Connect to KAM XL over the serial port with a terminal program
  • Enter calibrate mode (cal)
  • Use the ‘T’ option to initiate a continuous signal
  • Use the ‘-‘ or ‘+’ keys to decrease or increase drive level
  • Make adjustments so that the transmitter produces about 3 kHz of deviation
  • Exit calibrate mode with the ‘X’ command
